The Women’s Worldwide Car of the Year has announced its 14th edition of the five category winners in this year’s awards.  The Women’s Worldwide Car of the Year consists of a team of 75 incredible women automotive journalists. These women span across the world coming from 52 different countries, covering 5 continents.  This amazing team had to pick the five category winners from a total of 62 candidates. The winners were selected for their representation of excellence in “safety, driving, technology, comfort, efficiency, environmental impact, and value for money.” The voting process revealed 5 winners for the categories of Family Car, Large Car, SUV, 4x4 & PICK-UP, and Exclusive Car. These respected winners are the Volvo EX30, BMW 5 Series, Kia EV9, Volkswagen Amarok, and Aston Martin DB12.

Respected as “Volvo's first premium compact SUV” The Volvo EX30 is a demonstration of excellence for a family car. Its affordability and quality make it stand out as the year's best family car. “it is the Volvo with the lowest carbon footprint to date” Its environmental impact as an electric model adds to the quality and luxury of the Volvo EX30 making it the best family car of the year.

“Offered with a full range of engines” The BMW 5 Series is the year’s best large car. For the first time, it is included as fully electric. It features advanced technology with a sleek spacious cabin for passengers everywhere. Its inclusivity of the best to date environmental standards make the BMW 5 Series not only an innovator but a representation of the balance of power in technology and environmental safety. 

The Kia EV9 is a first of its kind. It is “the first large electric SUV with up to seven seats”. Along with its impressive size, it stands out for its high-technology design making it the best SUV of the year. Its addition of “bidirectional charging and ultra-fast 800-volt charging” makes it stand out compared to other models of its size. Its affordability also makes it extremely competitive in the market for SUVs. 

Presenting a “radical change” the Volkswagen Amarok represents the very best of a 4x4 & PICK-UP. “It gains habitability, off-road capabilities, load capacity” along with an incredible edition of five adaptable engines of choice making it a powerful competitor in the market. The improvement of the interior equipment and quality also provides another reason for why the Volkswagen Amarok is the 4x4 & PICK-UP of the year. 

“Luxury, elegance, and performance define the new Aston Martin DB12.”  The Aston Martin DB12 is a powerful exclusive car with a twin-turbo V8 engine that gets to an incredible top speed of 325 km/h. It is no wonder that it is this year’s category winner of exclusive car. Along with that, its acceleration of 0 to 100 km/h in 3.6 seconds makes it one of the most powerful cars to date. It has an impressive sense of power with improved interior design that does not hinder its functionality. The standout improvements to the Aston Martin DB12 make it one of the best competitors in the market for exclusive cars today.
